Exploring AI Usage in Contemporary Indonesian Music and Poetry

This paper aims to study the use of AI in two contemporary Indonesian artworks and identify similarities, differences, and broader implications in the artwork. While the works are from distinct creative traditions (one being music, the other poetry) and use different material, the inclusion of AI in their methods offers an opportunity for a comparative analysis. Drawing upon relevant scholarship in English and Indonesian, the study will review existing literature on the selected works and examine how AI usage is conceptualized and realized. The study seeks to contribute to discussions regarding the use of AI as part of artistic methodology in Indonesian art.
