An Acoustic Commons of the East Atlantic Flyway

In conjunction with Aesth/Ethics: hospitality in art and society, the 2025 Ereignis Conference, Catherine Clover extends hospitality and gratitude to what she calls the “more-than-human world”. Here, we find Catherine Clover having composed lists of what matters in and of this world. The list, as her chosen artistic form, is not an art work; nor do the lists constitute an exhibition. Instead, their simplicity affords the intricate scenography of the more-than-human world.

The lists also invite extension and expansion. May we follow Catherine Clover’s moves, assisted but not limited by these images, so that we make kin with what is before, above, and around us.

Imagine how they glide past before we know.
