Andrzej Skupień

Andrzej Skupień is a PhD student at the Institute of Philosophy at the Ignatianum University in Kraków, where he is writing a thesis on the impact of artificial intelligence on political decision-making and election campaigns – from an ethical perspective. His research interests centre on the ethics of AI, the philosophy of law and politics, and debates on transhumanism and posthumanism. He is an engineer by training – a graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble (France) and the postgraduate programme ‘Contemporary China’ at Jagiellonian University. He combines technical expertise with philosophical reflection on the legal and political challenges of the age of artificial intelligence. Professionally, he specialises in the auditing of IT systems, including AI.
