Biography

Levi R. Bryant is a psychoanalyst and professor of philosophy who lives in Dallas, Texas. He has written widely on Lacan, Deleuze, and Object-Oriented Ontology and is the author of Difference and Givenness: Deleuze's Transcendental Empiricism and the Ontology of Immanence (Northwestern University Press, 2008), The Democracy of Objects (Open Humanities Press, 2011), Onto-Cartography: An Ontology of Machines and Media (Edinburgh University Press, 2014), and co-editor with Graham Harman and Nick Srnicek of The Speculative Turn: Continental Materialism and Realism (Re.Press, 2011).
