Lonnie Monka is a poet and researcher completing a PhD in the Theater Department at Hebrew University. His dissertation explores the intersections of orality and modernism through the work of the American performance poet David Antin (1932-2016). Alongside his scholarship, he engages questions of performance, philosophy, and experimental art through writing, teaching, and curatorial projects in Jerusalem.
