Rachel Verliebter is an art therapist and curator. She is currently completing her PhD in Jewish thought at Bar-Ilan University, exploring the symbolism and phenomenology of water in Jewish mysticism. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the kabbalistic influences on L'École de pensée juive de Paris - the Parisian school of Jewish thought. She is a doctoral fellow at the Maayan Center for Ethics, Philosophy and Sustainability at Bar-Ilan University, where she also serves as a research fellow at the Joseph Carlebach Institute in cooperation with the University of Hamburg.
