Gisle Selnes is a professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Bergen, Norway. A vocal participant in the recent public debate on the imprisonment of Julian Assange, Selnes has published on Michael Haneke, Jorge Louis Borges, and Jacques Lacan, among others.
