Theodoros Skalidakis in his PhD thesis explores the issue of moral progress through the lens of Kantian philosophy, drawing arguments from the fields of political philosophy, philosophy of law, ethics, anthropology, education, and the philosophy of history. His primary goal is to reconstruct a theory that highlights the idea that humanity can and ought to progress not only in the scientific fields but also from a moral perspective. Alongside his PhD research, he has participated in international conferences on Kantian philosophy, particularly in the areas of ethics, politics, and aesthetics.

Theodoros Skalidakis has given this talk:
  • Ethics as Hospitality from the Perspective of Kantian and Derridean Philosophy at Aesth/Ethics: hospitality in art and society ( 2025 )
