Prof Vivek Narayanan

Vivek Narayanan’s books of poems include Universal Beach (2006), Life and Times of Mr S (2012), and After (2022), a volume the Harvard Review declared “radicaliz[es] our apprehension of beauty”, and The Times Literary Supplement referred to as an “imaginatively and intellectually rigorous” rewiring of Valmiki’s an ancient Sanskrit epic Ramayana. Born in India and raised in Zambia Vivek Narayanan studied at Stanford and Boston before taking up a teaching position in the MFA program at George Mason University.
